I am an illustrator who is passionate about being able to connect with people on an open and personal level. I find that maintaining a close relationship with friends allows me to be my true authentic self and communicate with them in a way that not many people would understand. Without it I feel like I’d be stuck constantly second guessing decisions, or spiraling in thought, trying to navigate difficult emotions that could easily be fixed by just reaching out. For that reason my friendships are integral to my creative process. They empower me to be my creative self and embrace my silly comments.
My art can be described as girly, colorful, and nostalgic. I pull inspiration from aesthetics similar to blossom frutiger using its recognizable swirly motifs, glowing effects, and floral patterns. Growing up I saw how technology developed and physically changed, companies have made their products better and better. The patterns I've included remind me of how exciting it was when mobile phones were first being promoted. I was inspired by the bold and playful graphic design style and use of music, which was incredibly energetic. This influenced me to try and replicate that feeling within my own art.
